
JillMarie
began her auction career in 1994, and has specialized in benefit auctions
since 1996. She also works as an independent contractor for auto, estate,
and commercial auctions. She is a 1994 graduate of the Missouri Auction
School, Kansas City, Missouri, a 1998 Graduate of the Certified Auctioneers
Institute (CAI), Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, and a 2001
graduate of the World Champion College of Auctioneering, Bakersfield,
CA. In 2001 JillMarie competed in the International Auctioneer Championship
in Boise, Idaho with 84 auctioneers in a 12 hour long event focused
on bidcalling and auction skills. She captured the title of International
Auctioneer Champion (IAC), Women's Division and traveled the United
States in 2001-02 as an ambassador and public speaker promoting the
auction industry for National Auctioneers Association (NAA). JillMarie
is proud to serve as the 2002-04 Oregon Auctioneers Association (OAA)
President and as a 2003-05 National Auctioneers Foundation (NAF) Trustee. |

JillMarie is known for her enthusiasm and ability to engage an audience. She is comfortable with groups of all sizes. She regularly conducts seminars and consultations on the auction method of marketing for fundraising, as well as, serving as Master of Ceremonies for several groups, as a moderator for panel discussions and as a spokesperson on a national and local level. Her seminar topics range from auction skills, to personal self improvement to making a difference in your community. JillMarie Wiles is an instructor for the National Auctioneer's Association Educational Institute (NAAEI) for the Benefit Auctioneer Specialist Designation (BAS). She is active in her local Toastmasters group, is a Competent Toastmaster (CTM) and in 2002 served as the President of Canby Toastmasters.

JillMarie enjoys being involved in a variety of different causes that help to improve the world community and the lives of children. She is active at a local level with Canby Kiwanis, Canby Livability Coalition, Make a Wish Foundation of Oregon, Doernbechers Children's Hospital, and The Ponytail Roundup. On a national and international level she is focused on the efforts of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, The Wholistic Peace Institute, National Auctioneers Foundation and Locks of Love. JillMarie carries a vision of using her public speaking skills to increase the awareness of organization's dedicated to improving the world through the lives of children. |

JillMarie also teaches bid calling techniques with several auction schools and conducts "One on One" instruction. Her teaching style has been described by her students as direct, dedicated, intuitive, and effective. Her instruction is custom fitted to each students learning style without compromising the basic elements of creating a smooth, rhythmic, well rounded and confident auction chant. With over a decade of diversified selling JillMarie teaches her students how to find their personal style and then create 4 "gears" of speed with their chant enabling them to be effective in a variety of selling scenarios. Students learn that bid calling is more than just numbers and mastering confidence includes the art of reading body language, crowd control, proper breathing techniques, and public presentation skills as well as providing leadership within an auction team. JillMarie teaches at auction school seasonally with sessions usually in early spring (Feb-March) or early fall (Sept-Oct). One on One sessions are by appointment and are usually conducted with the student traveling to Portland, Oregon. Each year at the National Auctioneers Association (NAA) Conference and Show, JillMarie along with other IAC Champions conduct one-hour "Three on One" sessions with all proceeds being donated to the National Auctioneers Foundation. |
